Cookie Policy
Transcript Shield processes your transcripts entirely in your browser, so we collect very little and promise even less fine print. These pages explain how the service works, what information we handle, and your rights when using it.

What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include browser local storage and session storage, which allow an application to save information on your device. Transcript Shield relies on these technologies in limited ways described below. Notably, transcript content you open in the application is processed in your browser's memory and is never placed in a cookie or transmitted to our servers.
Strictly Necessary Cookies and Storage
These are required for the service to function and cannot be switched off in our systems:
Authentication
We use cookies and/or browser storage to keep you signed in to your account and to secure your session. [Confirm how Supabase auth is configured — it stores session tokens in local storage by default, or in cookies if you use its SSR/cookie-based setup; describe whichever applies.]
Application state
The application may store settings and preferences on your device so the product works correctly across sessions. [Adjust to match what you actually persist locally — e.g. UI preferences, and the workspace dictionary if it is local-only.]
Security and infrastructure
Our hosting provider may set cookies needed to deliver the site reliably and protect it from abuse.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies to ensure the platform runs smoothly and to understand how users interact with Finexis.

Analytics Cookies
We use PostHog to understand how visitors use our website and application, such as which pages are visited and which features are used. This information helps us improve the product and does not include the contents of your transcripts. You can opt out of analytics cookies through your account settings.
Advertising and Marketing Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies anywhere on our website or application.
Your Choices
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the service. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies, and you can change your preferences at any time through your account settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify users through email or in-product notifications.
